Pumpkin Patch Trolley is a popular annual event for all ages, This year the event will be held Saturday October 14th and Sunday October 15th, 2017. It is a perfect time for riding down the rails on a real antique electric trolley. Ride one of the old wooden trolley cars, a PCC car or "Big Red" the Light Rail Vehicle on a segment of the old East Broad Top Railroad's Shade Gap Branch. Clickety-clak into the the beautiful fall foilage along the Blacklog Creek to the Blacklog Narrows and back.
For the kids, there's even more allure, They will be riding through Alotoff Siding, past the Rockhill Trolley Pumpkin Patch filled with all kinds and sizes of pumpkins and decorations before returning to puck out their own special pumpkin to take with them. They'ss arrive at the CarBarn 1 and Picnic Pavilion where it will be enclosed and heated and filled with free decorating materislas and trolley volunteers to help them. Photo opportunities, face painting and colring will be available . There will be refreshments for purchase and the little Museum Store will be open.
