A Moment Away…

Okay “A Moment Away” might be a slight exaggeration, but the Raystown Lake Region is conveniently located within a four-hour drive of Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Washington, DC, and Baltimore, and about five hours from New York City, Buffalo, Cleveland and Richmond.

Don’t want to drive? You can get to Huntingdon, PA via AmTrak on The Pennsylvanian line that passes through daily en route from Pittsburgh to New York City and back.

While on the train from Pittsburgh, you will see some of the most fantastic scenery and history that the Allegheny Mountains has to offer! View the slide show, click here! Riding the rails from Harrisburg or Philadelphia, brings you accross Pennsylvania Dutch farmland, and up the scenic Susquehanna and Juniata River valleys. When you arrive in the station at Huntingdon, you can rent a car or bicycle within 2 blocks, although we recommend calling Enterprise ahead of time to book your car rental in Huntingdon.

Prefer to fly? Book your tickets to the Altoona/Blair County Airport (AOO) or to the University Park Airport in State College (SCE), and rent a car from there to be in the Raystown Lake Region within 30 minutes.
