HUNTINGDON COUNTY, PA – The Huntingdon County Visitors Bureau, Huntingdon County Business and Industry and the Huntingdon County Chamber of Commerce are thrilled to announce the return of Raystaurant Week, a nine-day culinary celebration taking place from February 21 through March 1. Designed to showcase the vibrant dining scene of Huntingdon County, each day of Raystaurant Week will feature a unique theme, offering residents and visitors an exciting new way to experience local restaurants, food trucks and specialty eateries.
Raystaurant Week Daily Themes:
Social Saturday (Feb. 21): Kick off the celebration by gathering with friends and family at participating restaurants offering shareable specials and social-worthy bites.
Souper Sunday (Feb. 22): Warm up with a selection of soups, chowders and bisques.
Mix it Up Monday (Feb. 23): Expect creative cocktails, desserts and more.
Two for Tuesday (Feb. 24): Enjoy buy-one-get-one deals, pairings and perfect duos.
Wings & Wells Wednesday (Feb. 25): Indulge in signature wing flavors and special cocktails with unbeatable deals.
Think Global Thursday (Feb. 26): Take your taste buds on a trip around the world with globally inspired dishes.
Fried Day (Feb. 27): Enjoy crispy fried delights, from sweet to savory.
Saturday Live! (Feb. 28): Go out for dinner and enjoy live entertainment at participating locations.
Sunday Celebration Music Fest (March 1): Wrap up the celebration in one location, the Huntingdon County Arts Center! From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., indulge in sample-size dishes (3 for $10). While there, enjoy five free musical acts, along with hands-on activities located in the classroom spaces.
Participating restaurants include: All American Pizza, Bluegills Bar and Grill, Cassville Country Store, Checker's Grill, Chow Korral Coffee Co., Downtown Joe, Hometown Pub, Juniata Brewing Company, Kelly's Korner, Lake Rays Nutrition, Mactown Pizza Plus, McKinley's, Meadows of Huntingdon, Midnights Bar & Grill, Muddy Run Tavern, Nanny Mae's Cafe, Original Italian Pizza Downtown Huntingdon, Paesano's Italian Family Restaurant, Raystown Country Bar & Grill, Sazon Latina, Standing Stone Coffee Company, Sweethearts Confectionery, Tastes of Home Bakery, The Roast Post, Three Twelve Kitchen and Cocktails, Top's Diner, Veterans of Foreign Wars Huntingdon and What's Four Dinner.
This year also marks the first-ever launch of the Raystaurant Week Digital Passport. Each participating restaurant will feature a unique QR code for guests to scan. By checking in digitally, participants will accumulate points redeemable for prizes. Each check-in also enters participants into the grand prize drawing for gift card booklets. The more locations participants visit and check in at, the higher their chances of winning. Guests may check in once per location, per day.
