I founded Raystown Leisure Boating, LLC to help guests enjoy the lake without the hassle of towing or owning a boat, renting a boat, or trying to navigate the large open water of Raystown Lake. I have met so many folks over the years who boated for the first time and had a negative experience with a rental, were shocked by the taxes and fees, were surprised at the fuel cost, and/or were intimidated by the size of the lake, not knowing how to navigate it to enjoy the true Raystown experience.
I am a certified Pennsylvania Guide and personally captain this chartered boat service. I have decades of boating experience on the lake and choose to provide a higher level of service for visitors that is more cost effective than a rental boat. Different from a boat rental, I fully customize your experience based on your needs and desires. I will help you experience all aspects of leisure boating including fishing, secluded beach visits, cove hopping, floating, hiking, lounging, tubing and cruising for the day. You create the itinerary and I make it happen.
I have held careers within the fire service, education and safety consulting. With my previous career experience, safety is always on the forefront of every trip. With my lake experience, you are in great hands.
Unlike a boat rental, a significant portion of the fuel is included in the starting price. At $5 plus per gallon at lake marinas, likely higher, this can easily save you hundreds of dollars.
