Looking for a reason to skip cooking dinner? Well, you’re in for a treat, because Huntingdon County has something perfect that’s going to feel like it was made just for you.
From Saturday, Feb. 21 to Sunday, March 1, you’ll have the opportunity visit restaurants around Huntingdon County as part of ‘Raystaurant Week.’
Each day they’ll be highlighting different menu items or offering deals. You’ll need your appetite and a digital passport to collect points when you check at different restaurants. The points can be redeemed for prizes and enter you for a chance to win a grand prize.
Take a look at just a few of the things you’ll have the opportunity to try:
Social Saturday
The fun kicks off on Feb. 21 with a day dedicated to talking and get to know people. Whether you’re looking to meet up with a group of friends or meeting someone new. Social Saturday may just be the day for you.
You can pull up a chair at Three Twelve Kitchen & Cocktails to enjoy a margarita flight (made up of elderflower, pineapple and spicy) or a dessert sampler. You can also stop by the Meadows of Huntingdon and try out the NEW sundae flight. It’s launching on Feb. 21 so you can be one of the first to try this new treat.
Souper Sunday
Maybe you’re still trying to thaw out from this year’s winter storms and need a warm bowl of soup. Don’t worry then, Souper Sunday has got plenty for you to chose from.
Nanny Mae’s Café is offering hungry patrons a soup flight, a ½ and ½ special or soups to go, in case you’re looking for the perfect take home bowl. Looking for something a little more classic? Sazon Latina LLC will be serving up bowls of chicken noodle soup.

Midnights Bar & Grill will also be knocking a dollar off for all their well liquors until 12 a.m. as part of Wednesday’s festivities.
Think Global Thursday
Just because we’re in Huntingdon County doesn’t mean our taste buds have to be! To celebrate, restaurants around the county will be showcasing the flavors and cultures from across the globe. The Standing Stone VFW Post 1754 will have an “Around the World” buffet so you can get sample just a bit of everything. Another participant, Paesano’s Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria, will be making homemade lasagna with a toss salad and homemade bread.
