Print copies to be distributed at dozens of locations throughout Raystown Lake Region and at regional turnpike plazas, rest areas, welcome centers, hotels and attractions
HESSTON, PA - The 2024 Raystown Moments Huntingdon County Visitors Guide is now available in print and online for free to locals and visitors looking for a comprehensive vacation planning tool.
In this year's guide, readers can find "Raycation Inspiration" with articles about great photo spots, historical must sees, signature events, Raystown Dam's 50th anniversary and more! Exquisite photos throughout the magazine will help readers to visualize themselves enjoying a vacation in the region. The cover photo was submitted through a social media contest by Huntingdon resident Jeff Felton.
The 2024 visitors guide also features extensive lists of things to do, lodging, dining, shopping, places to live and local resources in the Raystown Lake Region. It also offers a large pullout map that includes the lake, Huntingdon, Jack's Narrows, Juniata Valley, Orbisonia/Rockhill and Stone Valley.
Visitors guides are available online at raystown.org and at the following 30 locations in the Raystown Lake Region: Canoe Creek State Park, Cassville Country Store, Comfort Inn, Cowan’s Gap State Park, Donna’s Family Restaurant, East Broad Top Railroad, Fairfield Inn & Suites, Greenwood Furnace State Park, Heritage Cove Resort, Holiday Bowl, Hoss’s Steak and Sea House, James Creek RV Resort, Juniata Reflections Gift Shoppe, Lake Raystown Resort and Marina Café, Lincoln Caverns & Whisper Rocks, Martin’s General Store in Alexandria, Martin’s General Store in Saxton, Raystown Beverage, Raystown Lake Visitor Center, Route 22 Huntingdon Visitor Center, Sandy Ridge Express, Sandy Ridge Market, Seven Points Bait and Grocery, Seven Points Recreation Area Entrance Station, Station General Store, Sunset Golf Club, Susquehannock Campground, Sweethearts Confectionery, Swigart Auto Museum, Timber Run KOA at Raystown Lake, and Trough Creek State Park.
