HESSTON, PA - The 2026 "Raystown Moments" Huntingdon County Visitors Guide is now available in print and online for free to locals and visitors looking for a comprehensive vacation planning tool.

 

HCVB is set to host a visitors guide drive-thru "Pick-up Party" Feb. 3 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. and Feb. 5 from 2-4 p.m. at the Raystown Lake Visitor Center. During the event, anyone is welcome to stop by to stock up on visitors guides for the 2026 season. HCVB staff will load vehicles with as many guides and other print materials as needed. Also offered during the pick-up party: Raystown Lake and Huntingdon County maps and event page QR posters. Plus there will be a free gift giveaway for participants (one free gift per car, while supplies last). This event is open to anyone and everyone.

 

In this year’s guide, readers will enjoy articles such as “Echoes of Independence,” a piece written to celebrate America’s 250th in the Raystown Lake Region. “Getting Here Is Fun, but Maybe Not Half the Fun!” explores unique ways to travel to and from Huntingdon County. “Every Adventure Is Better With a Wagging Tail” shares a complete, dog-friendly itinerary. “A Culinary Journey Across Huntingdon County” celebrates the region’s incredible small-town dining. “From Farm to Fun” presents on-farm experiences available to visitors and locals, and “Adventure Has No Boundaries” highlights accessible attractions for every traveler.

 

The 2026 visitors guide features extensive lists of things to do, lodging, dining, shopping and local resources in the Raystown Lake Region. It also offers a large pullout map that includes the lake, Huntingdon, Jack's Narrows, Juniata Valley, Orbisonia/Rockhill and Stone Valley.
