Making your way into town Thursday evening? There is no better way to kick off the holiday weekend than with incredible food and drinks. Your Hometown Pub has specials you can’t resist like BBQ bacon wrapped shrimp, deep fried devil eggs, their Cruisin’ burger and more. 

 

July 3

41st Annual Downtown Huntingdon Car, Truck & Bike Cruise

Find your way to Downtown Huntingdon for the Annual Car, Truck and Bike Cruise! The cruise will start at Juniata College at 5 p.m., travel down Washington St to the 4th-7th blocks where they will park for viewing. 

Independence Day Fireworks in Huntingdon

Dazzling the night sky the night before the national holiday, there will be fireworks visible from Downtown Huntingdon! Find your spot and take a seat, they will begin around 9:40 p.m.

Fireworks Swim at Isett Community Pool

An extra special way to take in the fireworks, from the swimming pool! For only $5 a person, you can swim the evening away awaiting the fireworks. Then watch them right from there!

 

July 4

4th of July Celebration at East Broad Top Railroad

The East Broad Top Railroad is marking America’s 250th Birthday with special excursions, rare equipment operations, food trucks, activities and fireworks! Train tickets are not required to watch the fireworks from EBT property. 

Independence Day Fireworks in Cassville

Join the town of Cassville as they conclude the holiday with fireworks, beginning at dark! 

Summer Thunder at DelGrosso’s Amusement Park

Experience the thrill of rides and roller coasters at the amusement park, then cool off with a splash in the water attractions. Spend the day making memories with family and friends. As evening falls, grab a spot and get ready for a dazzling fireworks display. It’s the perfect way to end a fun-filled day. 

 
July 5 

Independence Day Fireworks on Raystown Lake

The Lake Raystown Resort will light up the sky with its annual spectacular Independence Day fireworks show at dusk. Great viewing spots include the Entriken Bridge and Coffee Run overlooks. If you have a boat, watching from the water offers an unforgettable experience! Please be sure to follow all PA Fish and Boat Commission regulations, including proper navigational lights. For safety, parking on the side of the road or on the Route 994 bridge is not recommended.

Planning a day at Raystown Lake? A few helpful tips can make all the difference. You’ll find two public beaches, Seven Points Beach and Tatman Run Beach, perfect for a relaxing day by the water. Pack your towels and a cooler and enjoy a classic lake day.

Looking to get out on the water? If you don’t have a boat, consider booking tickets aboard the Proud Mary Showboat at Lake Raystown Resort. Or by renting a pontoon or houseboat from the Seven Points Marina. If you do have your own boat, there are seven public boat launches available at no cost, though parking is first-come, first-served.

With summer activity in full swing, the lake can get busy, so be sure to prioritize safety, wear life jackets and follow all waterway rules, including posted no-wake zones. Need help navigating your adventure? A detailed map with mile markers is available to guide your time on the water.
