Part I: Where to Stay And Eat for Walking in Huntingdon

AmTrak’s Pennsylvanian Line stops twice daily in Huntingdon at its station along 4th Street from Pittsburgh, Greensburg, Johnstown and Altoona in the morning, and from New York City, Philadelphia, Harrisburg and Lewistown in the late afternoon. The AmTrak station is a convenient starting location for experiencing Huntingdon by foot or by bicycle.

  • Muddy Run Tavern has a varying menu that can be enjoyed with an adult beverage. This has been a dream come true for owner, Chad Heichel who also runs a mobile food concession stand that is a favorite for many from all over. The Muddy Run staff is ready to serve you from a variety of menu items that will be sure to satisfy everyone's taste buds!

  • Standing Stone Coffee Company offers specialty in-house roasted single-origin coffees and unique blends. The café includes a full espresso bar, smoothies and milkshakes, creative breakfast, lunch and dinner fare along with free wi-fi and a coin-op laundry.
