It’s time to roll up your sleeves and dive into Canva! Get hands-on instruction learning the basics of the program, practical tips and time-saving tricks. Bring a laptop to follow along in the moment.
Session 1b: Meta Analytics Made Simple
Confused by the numbers? This session simplifies Meta Analytics, helping you understand your data and use it to create stronger, more effective content.
2-2:45 p.m.: Educational Sessions #2
Session 2a: Designing Events That Work
Identify what’s not working and learn how to turn it around. This session covers common event challenges and simple ways to design for stronger outcomes.
Session 2b: Turning Moments into Marketing
Learn from content creator, Emily Moore (Emily Goes Places), on how to craft social media-worthy experiences that visitors can’t resist sharing. Drawing from her firsthand experiences, discover how to naturally encourage photos, posts and organic shares—turning your visitors into your most powerful marketing tool.
3-3:45 p.m.: Collaboration in Action: Speed Networking
Think speed dating, but for business. Rotate through quick meetups with fellow attendees to exchange ideas, explore partnerships and find creative ways to work together.
4-5 p.m.: Cocktail Hour
Enjoy drinks, hors d'oeuvres and time to mix and mingle with fellow business owners, staff and more. Joining us for cocktail hour are Penn State University students who have been working diligently on projects related to the Raystown Lake Susquehanna North Parcel, ready to chat with you about what they have put together!
5 p.m.: 2026 Destination Excellence Awards Presentation
