Experience life on a working sheep farm at Woodcock Hollow Farm with a guided tour that brings you up close to the land, the animals and the traditions that sustain them.

'Herd' About Sheep Dogs?: Walk through parts of the farm as you learn about daily operations, then watch skilled sheepdogs in action during herding and sheep handling demonstrations. Depending on the season, you may also see a shearing demonstration and learn how wool is harvested. Along the way, pick your own seasonal fruits and vegetables to take home while discussing raised bed gardening techniques. The experience wraps up with samples of farm-produced goods, offering a true taste of what the farm has to offer.

The Cheese Experience: Enjoy an immersive farm-to-table experience at a working dairy where cows are milked and artisan cheeses are crafted on-site. Begin with a warm welcome and overview of the farm, followed by a short video exploring the history of cheese. Step into the cheese-making process with a demonstration of culturing milk, adding rennet, watching curds form and hooping them into cheese wheels. Then, roll up your sleeves for a hands-on cheese-making activity complete with supplies to take home and continue the experience later. Tour the cheese vat, press and aging rooms. Wrap up the experience savoring a delicious cheese board with thoughtfully paired flavors.

Learn all about the uber-friendly alpacas at Terrace Mountain Alpacas!
Location: Terrace Mountain Alpacas, 7110 John Bum Rd, Huntingdon, PA 16652
All About Alpacas: Learn why alpacas are raised, where they originate from and the different types you may encounter on the farm. Explore what happens after shearing as you follow the journey of alpaca fiber from fleece to finished product. Get up close with the alpacas, snap a few selfies and even meet Dakota, their friendly guard dog. The experience wraps up with creating a bird nesting basket to take home. Don't forget to visit the on-site farm store for alpaca products! This farm is certified "PA Preferred," "Home Grown By Heroes," and is accessible to visitors with disabilities.

Handcrafted bath and body products are a specialty at Four Diamonds Ranch. During your visit to this magical place, you'll meet goats and chickens and explore fields of sunflowers. Don't forget to visit the new Farm Store for some locally sourced goodies.

Scents & Shenanigans: Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll customize two bath and body products with your favorite fragrance oils. We’ll guide you through every step, measuring, mixing, packaging and labeling, so you can take home your own handcrafted creations. The fun doesn't end there! After crafting, head out to the pasture for some quality goat playtime. It’s the perfect blend of artisanal crafting and farmyard fun.
Wandering Wednesdays: Join our friendly goat herd for a guided trek through the heart of the ranch. As we hike, you’ll take in stunning views of our rolling fields and the surrounding mountains. We’ll even cross a small, bubbling stream along the way! We will hike to a scenic designated point to enjoy light refreshments together before turning around to head back to the barn. Important Note: This adventure includes uphill terrain and uneven trails. It is a moderately active experience and is not recommended for those with heart/health concerns or mobility challenges.

During this adventure, you’ll get up close and personal with our daily chores as we teach you how to milk a goat and collect farm-fresh eggs straight from the coop. Once the "chores" are done, the real fun begins! You’ll head out to the paddock to visit and play with our friendly goat herd. It’s an authentic, interactive farm experience that’s perfect for anyone wanting to learn more about homesteading.
